        <title><![CDATA[Capitol US: la série 'Compact 33']]></title>

    <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: times new roman,times;">Si aux Etats-Unis, la discographie des Beatles ne comporte pas de singles juke-boxes à proprement parler, Capitol a tout de même
    édité une série dite 'Compact 33' (car les</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: times new roman,times;">disques sont enregistrés en 33T), qui a été commercialisée au début des années
    1960 sur une courte période (la série a été arrêtée courant 1965). On y retrouve aussi des</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: times new roman,times;">artistes comme Franck Sinatra
    et les Beach Boys. Il est important de noter que ces 'Compact 33' avaient des pochettes cartonnées dont le recto reprenait en miniature,</span> <span style=
    "font-size: 12pt; font-family: times new roman,times;">la jaquette de l'album d'où les titres étaient extraits. Le verso est lui, entièrement vierge. Il existe également une pochette générique
    qui leur était spécialement dédiée:</span>

    promotionnelles. Caractéristique inusitée</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: times new roman,times;">à l'époque: ils sont enregistrés en stéréo. Trois 'Compact 33' ont été recensés

    symbole de la "British Invasion". Contrairement à ce que laisse penser l'illustration du recto de la pochette, les deux faces du disque n'opposent pas les artistes américains à leurs cousins
    anglais, mais confronte les courants Rock et Pop. On y trouve entre autres les Beach Boys, Nat King Cole, Al Martino, Peter &amp; Gordon, Cilla Black et les Beatles avec "Can't Buy Me Love" et
    "You Can't Do That". Détail qui n'est pas anodin, puisque cela fait de "The Big Hits From England &amp; USA" le seul 33T Capitol US des années 60's à contenir "Can't Buy Me Love".<br>

        <title><![CDATA[Sgt. Pepper in the USA !]]></title>

    track-listing que des mixages des chansons. Un détail toutefois: le fameux "Inner Groove", à la toute fin de "A Day In The Life" a été supprimé. Les fans outre-Atlantique le retrouverons sur leur
    pressage de l'album "Rarities".</span></span><br>
